How do you choose the right doors and hatches for your industrial tanks? You should know that the Boyer company offers different types of manholes, made in France, adapted to various sectors of activity.

<> autoclave or outdoor doors for tanks

<> Non-pressure inspection hatches and sealable hatches

According to EN 547-1, there are different types of manhole to allow horizontal movement in a standing position, vertical movement in a duct, freedom of rapid movement and entry in a kneeling position.

According to the standard, the different manholes allow the same useful passage. However, we differentiate the designation doors and hatches according to pressure resistance. Pressure doors can exceed a working pressure of 1 bar, and non-pressure hatches generally have a pressure of less than 1 bar or none at all.

Do not hesitate to contact a Boyer expert for any questions about products suitable for your sector.

Tank doors adapted to your sector

With 100 years of expertise, the Boyer company manufactures mixing tank doors. The autoclave doors are specifically designed for the wine and food sectors. They offer a reduction in surface area where products can stagnate. In fact, they are designed with an anti-retention system enabling products to slide towards the inside of the tank. The primary advantage of autoclave doors is their resistance to pressure while being perfectly sealed.

Our design office has developed several shapes of tank doors to meet the needs of different sectors and offer greater space when opened. Safety in industry is essential, which is why we offer outside doors that meet CODAP building codes. Positioned on top of your industrial tank, the external door offers very high resistance to pressure. Exterior doors for tanks are mainly used as front doors.

Our range of tank doors is completed by powder doors, clamp doors and rectangular seal doors. Powder-type doors are ergonomically designed to be as flat as possible and flush with the inner surface of the tanks thus avoiding any accumulation and retention zones for powder or volatile dry product contained in the tanks. Clamp-type doors feature a clamping system that differs from other doors in that it uses a clamp. This' is a quick tightening system for more frequent openings.

Sterile, secure access doors

To help our customers in their daily use of mixing tanks, our design office works every day to offer you ideal inspection hatches for your business: pharmaceutical, cosmetics and healthcare or food sector.

The pressureless aseptic hatches are perfectly sterile thanks to the work done on the right angle of their frame. Discover our P31 range of pressureless aseptic traps and P33 pressureless traps.

Placed on top of mixing tanks, Boyer industrial hatches ensure high quality and safety in use. P42 round sealable hatches are specially designed for the manufacture of concrete tanks. Once embedded in the concrete, they are fitted with sealing rings or lugs to secure the door to the wall (concrete tank/wall), unlike conventional doors which are welded directly to a stainless steel tank.
