The arrival of a new hydraulic press in the Boyer workshop!

The entire Boyer team is proud to unveil the new press in our workshop. Today, our workshop says goodbye to its old 1920 press and welcomes a brand new hydraulic press. Our workshop is thus getting a new look, to guarantee you a production at the cutting edge of technology, in complete safety.

After 100 years of good and loyal services, the founding hydraulic presses of the Boyer company are leaving our premises. If the latter was the symbol of the family business that is Boyer, we are now writing a new page, a new chapter turned towards the future. It is thus making way for a hydraulic press, an arrival that marks a resolutely modern and performance-oriented turning point, to always serve you better.

The usefulness of a modern hydraulic press in our workshop

The hydraulic press allows us to modify the shape of metal products for the creation of your custom locking systems. All types of metals can be stamped. It develops a power of 800 tons which allows us to stamp large thicknesses. Thus, with this new press, the improvement of the manufacturing techniques, the saving of time and precision allows us to be able to provide any type of trap door or door for your tanks.

Renewal in our workshop!!

This hydraulic press has a mobile upper table equipped with a single-acting main cylinder as well as a double-acting cylinder for the fixed part. The whole is guided by four cylindrical columns. A programmable control panel allows the press to be operated in automatic or manual mode and thus offers optimal machine operation. This novelty also allows to finally accommodate larger tooling sizes, up to 1 meter.

Through this change, Boyer definitively begins its new chapter, synonymous with dynamism, symbol of the modernity of its workshop, for a fast, efficient manufacturing, and in phase with the needs of the different sectors and industries in 2021.

Improving safety for our employees

At Boyer, the safety of our employees is a priority. We are committed to ensuring quality production in the best possible conditions. That's why the front of the work area of our new press is protected by guards with level IV photocells.

Two fixed side guards and a walkable guard with a magnetic disconnection detector are located at the rear. Thus, we continue to produce custom-made elements for your tanks, while optimizing our production and making it more secure.
